Curious as to why vaccines are never brought up as a potential cause of these gut origin autoimmune diseases? Hello, rampant flu shot season anyone. My guess is intense fear of backlash but until people rise up and put vaccines squarely on the table of potential cause where they belong, how is it supposed to get better for any of us, most of all our kids? Diet plays a huge role but injecting neurotoxins, foreign DNA, and other hardcore chemicals has nothing to do with it? Come on?

What an awesome episode. As someone who has Colitis this information is amazing to hear. I bet you could count on one hand how many medical or Gastro doctors are talking about what is mentioned in this episode. Thank you Shawn for sharing this information.

    Hi Shawn,

Thank you for this podcast i have listened to it 5times already and learning new things each time. My name is Roberto Genito and i am from Australia

I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis 10yrs ago, i went and had a colonoscopy and 25cm of my colon was affected. Within two weeks of being on the drugs from the Gastroenterologist i was clear and in remission for 10yrs.

Unfortunatly my colitis has returned, i had a colocoscopy and was put back on the drugs from the Gastroenterologist, but this time the drugs have not worked at all and i have been on them for 4 courses over the last 3months. I went to a naturopath and have even changed my diet to a low salycilate diet and eliminated all (processed foods, alcohol, acid fruit/veg) i have included more fermented foods into my diet Kimchi, Keifer, Sauerkraut but nothing is helping me.

I am an active guy i workout 4-5times a week eat healthy, get good sleep, drink 3 liters of water a day and am positive

I am lost for remedies to help me recover and have a normal life, i really do not want my colon removed and i am willing to try anything to recover from this.

If there is anything you can help me out with or direct me to someone i would appreciate it, i am a huge fan of the model health show your podcasts have helped me out so much. I have also written to Dct Robynne Chutkan.

    Thank you for your time.

    Roberto
