    Hello from England! I wanted to leave this as a podcats review and not sure if this is the right way to do so but anyway I am writing to say a million thank yous!!!

    I have been on a journey to get fit, improve my mental health, improve my nutrition and get back in shape after having my 2 beautiful daughters. I completely underestimated the impact of childbirth and childcare on my body and over the last 5 years I have had multiple episodes of a bad back, recurring tonsillitis, erratic sleep. In addition both my parents have been diagnosed with dementia in the period since I have had kids!!. It’s been a challenging time.

    Around a year ago I decided enough was enough for my own sanity and after some counselling and a timely conversation with a friend, I embarked on a journey of personal growth. I started reading and listening to podcasts, meditating, journal-ling (amazing) joined a gym, got a personal trainer, signed up to a half marathon and thought more about my diet.

    I recently discovered your podcasts thanks to Dr Google. I was immediately captivated by both your style your interaction, knowledge, positivity, enthusiasm (I could go on). I am working my way through your podcasts and have enjoyed every one learning so much.

    I feel a lot better and I completed the half marathon yesterday! I love the journey I am on and I have achieved a huge amount in the last year BUT I don’t feel I am operating to my full potential and feel at times I am operating in a fog, I can be quite snappy and I have been inconsistent with my meal planning and food intake, it’s frustrating.

    Last Thursday I listened to the latest podcast Episode 175 ‘Discover your Chronotype & Leverage the Power of When”….. Wow! On the back of listening to it I took the “Power of When Quiz” and it turns out I’m a Dolphin! (or as I initially called it “wanna-be Lion”). The description was so accurate and I immediately ordered a copy of Dr. Breus’s book “The Power of When”. I am so grateful and thankful to have found this. I have been fighting my biological clock for so long and never even knew. I have also made my husband do the quiz and he’s a Bear, having this insight is so wonderful for our relationship and gives both of us a greater understanding of each other operates during the day.

    I have now set myself the challenge to follow the ‘Dolphin’ Plan for the next 30 days and see where it takes me. The potential for positive impact for both my mental and physical health is huge. I already mentioned that both my parents have dementia (one Alzheimer’s and one with Lewy Body Dementia), I am totally convinced their poor lifestyle choices and elevated stress led them to have these conditions, so for me it is incredibly important to be at optimal health and live a happy and healthy life.

    I am just so grateful to you for being able to share this information on Chronotypes and for all your podcasts they are amazing keep up the great work!
