In a ranking of the most beneficial technologies we have today for improving our health, the “Green Smoothie” strategy is rated near the top of the list. This is for 2 HUGE reasons:
1) Concentration of alkaline minerals. This helps your body to detoxify, reduce excess weight, improve mood, normalize digestion and much more.
2) Efficient delivery system. To get this amount of green vegetables in your diet (like you know you’re “supposed to”) it would take you a tremendous amount of time each day. Using the technology of the blender, you’ll be able to maximize your meal in a delicious way that REALLY delivers on nutrition.
Check out this video to learn about the benefits of a REAL powerhouse green smoothie. And your one assignment is to MAKE IT!!! Spring is coming into full swing soon, and there’s nothing more powerful than making a green shake everyday to help you get in shape for the spring and summer fun!
Recipe
10 Ounces of Spring Water
1 Cup Frozen Blueberries
3 Leaves of Kale (De-stemmed)
1 Scoop of Sunwarrior Protein-Vanilla
1 Tbsp of Sunwarrior Ormus Greens
1 Tbsp of Hemp Seeds
1 Ripe Banana
1 Tbsp of Flax Oil
Pinch Of Sea Salt
Add all ingredients to your high speed blender and blend until smooth.
Chef Tip: Add the flax seed oil last while the other ingredients are blending to add a great consistency to your shake and maintain the nutritional integrity of the flax oil.
Yields approximately 16 ounces. Have it immediately. Take your time, and enjoy!
which Perfect Plant Protein product do you use and does it replace the Sunwarrior Protein Vanilla and Ormus Greens?
Just found my way here after listening to your podcast with Pat Flynn.
Would you recommend putting whey protein in a smoothie like this or would you prefer other sources of protein?
Thanks,
Joe
Hi Shawn,
Are Sun Warrior products still you #1 choice for blending your smoothies, or have you transitioned to using more products from Pefect-supplements?
BTW, you’re awesome!
Toya, why thank you 😉 Sun Warrior is still a top plant-based protein in my eyes, but my family does have the Perfect Plant Protein in the cabinet right now.
Dear Shawn,
I thought you put some goji berries in this drink?
that ormus greens sure looks inviting, so do the blueberries and bananas. lately vitamineral greens version 4.8 with shilajit is growing to be one of my favorites.
i just saw a recipe for raw chocolate pudding using cacao powder, avacado, banana, and a sweetener like young coconut or honey then blend it up and chill it, or blend it frozen to serve quicker.
health sure does taste good!
